Thread Starter | how does the way guitar and drums are built affect the sound they produce?
like the wood used with a guitar and the shape of the guitar and skin used on drums and stuff like that, how does all this affect the sound of the instrument?

It..um.. all affects it. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. Hope that answers your question. "-) |

Is there a reason you're asking this? There are university degrees given out on the basis of that question so you're not going to get an easy answer. Suffice it to say that, with any instrument, the types of materials used and the quality of their construction (not to mention the craftsmanship involved) are going to affect how the instrument sounds and/or responds to any given musicians touch. And with that I wish you good luck ![]() Dan Carter |
