Sansamp PSA

I have an opportunity to buy an original model Sansamp PSA1 for $300. Is this a good value, do you like the unit? I have been working on developing a nice recording tone. I am not terribly thrilled with the Podx xt, Guitar Rig, nor Amplitube. I am looking for another solution, and like the sound of the Sansamp Classic, but it is not quite there.

Never tried it but by all accounts this is the one to get... great for gtr bass and drums.

As I understand it is less compressed than the Tri-AC which I have

Seen them going for £300 here

Twice as much as your one.

EDIT --- have you seen this thread in classifieds? : http://www.gearslutz.com/board/gears...-us-110-a.html

Amazing on kick and bass- not brilliant on guitar but not bad either.
That is a good price- if you don't want to buy it can we work out something where you buy it for me and I send you the cash?
Very good price.

I track all my bass with it, it's killer. Also good for Vox distortion.
