Okay, my b-18-n rules

Okay, I've been without an actual bass guitar until a couple weeks ago. I've finally found some time to use my Ampeg b-18-n.

Man, this thing sounds like a DJ's dream. It has that organic old school groove that you'd find off a house record arsenal or something.

Okay, that's all.

Hi Jack,

My handy dandy camera's doesn't work all that great, but I'm stoked to have it around. I've decided to use it for taking pictures of mic setups that turn out phenominal. That and vanity shots of course.

Anyway, here's another:

Again, like mosts of my posts praising equipment. It became unusable after 2 hours. It keeps making a popping noise. I think the noise is coming from one of the power tubes. It might need to be replaced. I'll have my friend look at it. In the meantime, I'll use my Music Man.

The b-18 is the sh1t though. It's almost archetypal in terms of sound.

For instance, think of a primary bass tone, like just imagine it for a second.

...

Okay, that's what this thing sounds like. That bass tone.

Cheers,

Soup man you're having a run of bad luck with your gear still, I see.

Hope you can get her fixed without too much trouble.

That rig working right should get you some glorious bottom.

Enh, same old new, just finally getting around to the issues.

It's a 7027a tube that's crackling and needs replaced. I'll need to replace both of them though since they work in tandem. Or at least that's what my tech told me.

I'm not sure which one's are good to get, but I was going to post a thread soon as I got around to it.
