Cabinett for Fender Bassman

Hi,

I just got a fender Bassman.

What would be a matching cabinett for these.

I have a Marshall 1960 w/GT75, Orange 412 w/v30 and Hiwatt 412 w/fane.
But I have the feeling that a 212 or 112 cab would fit the Bassman better.

How are the framus 2x12 cabs.

Anyone ?

Bassman cabs are with Eminence if I am not mistaken.

first of all what year bassman? second, what kind of tone are you looking for?

my guitar player has a 63 blonde bassman, and 2X12 cab, that he reloaded with celestion vintage 30s, and it sounds hella good. but it all depends on the tone you are looking for. go listen to white light, white heat white trash by Social Distortion. all the lead guitars are a Les Paul with P-90's through modded Bassman heads through old marshall 4X12s.

or listen to the Brian Setzer Red Hot and Live Record. 63 Bassman head and cab with a roland 301 chorus echo for boost.

cheers

Hi,

it's an 1979 Bassman 70. Not the best of the bassmans, but I might get a blackface 1964 soon.

The sound I'm after are the typical clean fender sounds which are so outstanding.
I'm more into indie rock than country. If I'm correct the new interpol is much fender.

I want a cabinet which brings out the sound of the fender as it should sound. Not muffeled like with the marshal cab.
