Thread Starter | Fantastic Advice for Dobro and Acoustic Live Sound
Here is a fantastic web page that I read about three years ago that really helped me. I have to put it as one of my all time favorites. Anyone who has done live sound with a dobro knows what a PITA it can be. Much of this is also good advice for anyone playing an acoustic or nylon string live too. Bob Brozman LIVE Sound Hints Bob Brozman is amazing. A true master of the dobro. Saw him live with an Indian Slide guitar player who was playing Mohan Vina (an old f-hole with extra resonant strings strung over the f-hole to catch the resonant frequencies and give the guitar an Indian sound). Both players were unbelievable. Check this out, and go see Bob if he's in town... |
