| New 6L6 power tubes for my Blues DeVille? I need to get some 6L6 power tubes for my Fender Blues DeVille 4x10, any suggestions as I haven't ever had to buy power tubes before. They only stock Groove Tubes down the street at the GC, but I'm in no hurry so if there's something in the same price range (2 for $50 or 4 for $90) I will definitely be willing to wait and order them somewhere else. Just wanted to hear what you cats are using. Thanks!

| I really like the short bottle TAD 6L6 tubes. I order online from Doug's tubes Tubes -> Power Tubes -> 5881 / 6L6 / KT66 or thetubestore.com TAD 6L6WGC-STR. I prefer these to Svet Winged -C-s in both my Mesa and 5150 amp. Why ?  they just sound more "musical" to me. |
