| If that's the thing that'll make your strat complete, where else you gonna get it? Besides, you can hardly get your kid a decent electric guitar for a quarter million dollars: http://www.gbase.com/Stores/Gear/Gea...x?Item=1638538 |

Thread Starter | WTF????? I just don't get it. I love guitars... a lot. I spend most of my day with a guitar in my hands and most of my spare cash is put towards guitars or guitar related stuff. The only reason I started a studio was to record me playing guitar. Who the hell are these people paying these prices? I was on tour in Sweden last year and someone loaned me a 65 strat to play for one gig. It was actually my backup guitar in case I broke a string as I only bought one guitar on that tour. It was nice, sure- I liked it, it sounded good but it certainly wasn't twice as good as any of my guitars let alone 20 times as good. It isn't like the difference between a cheap mic pre and a high end mic pre. That is more easily quantified. This is just... guitar pornography. (and not the good kind) It's nucking futs. |
