Amp Head > Patchbay > Snake > Cabinet... which cables?

I'll be playing the guitars in the control room into the amp heads, with the cabs in the live room.

My patchbay in the control is hardwired to the snake in the live room. There are 12 XLR connectors and 4 balanced Jack connectors on either end (pb end and snake end).

I'd probably rather use the balanced Jack connectors than the XLRs, but I guess it doesn't matter, so what cable should I get to go from the amp head to the patchbay, and from the snake to cabinets.
