The speaker load makes a huge difference in how loud this 100 watt amp sounds. Through my 4 Ohm SVT 8X10 cabinet, I can run mine at 4 with reasonable comfort. I can also run her wide open if I want to! I tried her through my friends vintage '64 Deluxe Reverb open back single 12" cabinet equipped with a UK Vintage 30 (8 Ohm) and the volume seemed to double. The single 12" had no problem handling the 50 watt or 100 watt setting on the amp, but gee wiz it was loud!
