Anyone know DeVille guitars?

Hi!

Does anyone here know anything about DeVille guitars? There's a Les Paul Custom copy (same diamond-inlay on the headstock too) that someone can maybe give me. The guitar's neck is absolutely fantastic. In fact, it's what I always hoped a Gibson to be like - slim and fast, but not "bend in the wind"-thin. It sounds great when played acoustic too, which is always a good sign... I tapped the top and it seems like the guitar might be semi-hollow inside. Hardware seems really cool too. Haven't had a chance to check out the electronics yet.

Any opinions or anybody who knows anything about this brand. I have searched the Internet but can't find anything useful.

BTW the guitar has a bookmathced carved top of what seems to be either a very light-colour mahogany or slightly "grainy" plain maple. The neck is also set into the body and not bolted on. Seems like the guitar was some kind of Les-Paul-With-A-Twist sorta thing.
