Bogner XTC best lead tone? & OD pedal

Wondering what you guys think. I love the squishy tone of the XTC for leads. I compared it to a Diezel and just didn't have magic of XTC.

also was wondering will XTC take a OD pedal well.

Ive found when using an ecstacy no OD pedal is required, not even a boost, since it hasa built in boost right there on the massive footswitch. Im sure a tube screamer type pedal would sound pretty nice with an ecstacy but I just dont see the need if you are playing an ecstacy then chances are you want THAT tone.
