UK, London Gearslutz pre Xmas drink?

Inspired by James' LA getogether, does any one in the UK fancy meeting up one evening somewhere there is beer & food, probably within zone one or two before Xmas?

Ya! I'm in for a bit of dumbness!

Muswell Hill is a GREAT place to go out! LOADS of really nice places! I could possibly organise a great turkish feast? ULULULULULULULULULU

ahh, muswell hill. good spot, I live there too.

that said, no tube station, which may be annoying for visitors!

What's your favourite Turkish place? I noticed Divan just changed its' name... wondering what's up there...?

Divan is a contender for one of the best in London! Been working away so haven't noticed the change yet!

Very well served by buses tho right outside Highgate or Bounds Green tube - about 5 minutes on the bus to the centre of Muswell!

If it's gonna be next Friday the 15th then I may fly down to join you people. Never met any people from this joint, that could be a good opportunity. And Turkish sounds good, haven't had any of the native taste for sometime.

Bev & Rich T's gig was good.

I was thinking Friday the 15th was the last chance of a drink and sleep in the next day evening before Xmas really kicks in..

Yes we lost some posts (server mayhem yesterday)

The Turkish place (delicious) are being a bit crabby about EXACT number of attendees..

So we are going to nominate a local hang out were we can eat AND if folks just want to drink .. they can do that too. This will suit folks dropping in when they can we will be there from about 6 or 7 till 11pm..

Stand by for the address and directions!!!

The venue will be in Muswell Hill N10 - thats for sure..
