Thread Starter | Analog Preamp First
So i've gotten a decent mic cabinet assembled, a decent eight mic preamp/converter box (firewire) and am looking to step into the analog tube preamp realm. i realize that the buy-in to most in this category are around $1000 per channel, so i'm looking for some real advice before dropping that kind of cash for something that will make a sonic equivalent of the money i'll be parting with. In other words, i record guitars, vocals, drums, pretty much everything and want to know what's the first analog tube preamp you'd recommend me to go with that is the most "versatile"? |

I think you should give the Tab a serious look.. about 1100.00 dollars, but I think you will be very happy. http://www.mercenary.com/amitav.html
