Just tried a Peluso 2247 LE

Today I tested a Peluso 2247 LE on male vox and accoustic.
What a great mic!
I can't believe how good it sounds.
My pre was an LTD-1 but I know that what I heard came mostly from the mic.
It's a big but perfectly balanced sound. (that telefunken tube is working!)
What can I say, I lovei it!

On another note, A lot of people are raving about the Pearlman on this board and I have not read as much praise for the Peluso 2247LE but I understand that Peluso supplies Pearlman for most parts so I imagine that they sound very similar.
Has anyone compared the two or know of any differences?

These thing go in cycles. The Peluso got a LOT of buzz awhile back. Before the Pearlman buzz started. The timing of that buzz means nothing.

I have a 2247LE and feel the same way you do.

Yes a great mic. It takes EQ very well and it delivers a lot of detail.

Also I don´t know how the Pearlman is sounding... There is a new mic in the line from Pearlman that thing would I like to hear.
