| Recommendations for mixer? I'm looking for a great sounding option to mix through out of discrete outs from PT. I have about $4K to spend, and am looking for the highest quality outboard mixer option I can get for the money, either 16 or 24 channels. I know about the Dangerous 2 bus stuff, but are there any other great sounding options, possibly with a more traditional console layout I should look at for the money? |

| Has anyone seen this yet? Phoenix Nicerizer Looks interesting... Edit: It's got transformer outs on every channel, how many other mixers in the class have that? |

I think I'm gonna go with the Venice in the end. Perfect for the live stuff I do and I like the fact that it has a small footprint. Useful eq's and real preamps. Any opinions on it's summing? I've never used one in a studio context. | |

| You may like to check out a second-hand TAC Bullet or similar(AMEK BC2/BC3). Clean pre's with allegedly the same eq circuit as the old AMEK Angela(on the bullet) Cheers, Tim |
