those are the same.... la610 is a 610 and a m5 is a single 2022. |

Based upon my ownership of the 2022 and the UA 6176, I'd consider the 2022 to be the more versatile piece for the sources you describe. I do, though, still like the UA 6176 for vocals so I don't suggest that it is not a good preamp section. John- |
