Pearlman TM1 is here

Nice looking mic IMO. I set it up side by side with my Neumann TLM103 and sang the same thing into both going into my old VS2480CD. I wanted to NOT use any other outboard for this little test.

Heres what I found; I listened to the Neumann a few times through to get my ears going and then switched to monitoring the Pearlman and WOW. What was that? Sounded like someone had a filter on the highs and lows that they turned off. All of a sudden I could hear the clarity, open top, prescence, clear highs and nice lows. Def a keeper here. I may have found my mic
This baby is NICE!!!!!! I will test it through my Avalon 737sp soon along with the Neumann to compare. I didnt even mess with the pattern or high freq cut switch yet.

Had my wife pick here fav mic (blind listening) and she picked it as well. She said the Neumann sounded FLAT in comparison!! LOL No diss on the Neumann here as its cool but just not giving ME what I wanted to hear on MY VOX

My wife cant sing(At All BTW) but apparently she knows good sound when she hears it.

Well worth the dough IMO, money WELL spent. Thanks Dave!!!!

Congratulations! I've had my TM1 for 11 months now, I still adore it like I did the first time I heard it. Mine usually goes into the Vipre, so I have many colors I can apply quickly to this mic, and they ALL sound great.

I think that in terms of price/value, it's the best mic purchase I ever made...

Well, there's the SM57

i like my pearlman, too. It seems like it has smoothed out a bit on the high end, too. It was bright when i first got it.
