PT maximum voice count?

What's the maximum voice count in PT if I'm using HD4+expansion bay at 96kHz? 128?

Yes, that's the case with HD3, but do I get any additional tracks by adding one more HD card and a Expansion chasis? It would make sense that I get 128 tracks@96kHz?

no ... extra dsp or a chassis does not alter voice counts.

However ... to get maximum track counts at any sample rate with an expansion chassis and the latest models of computers ... make sure you get a chassis that supports those track counts. 64 bit chassis' in other words.

Older 32 bit chassis' will work but will not obtain maxixmum track counts. The older 32bit digidesign chassis for example will give you 128 @ 48k instead of the full 192 and 64 @ 96k instead of 96.

OK, so what's the maximum voice count at 96kHz for HD4 and a 64-bit expansion bay?

So, it's the same as for HD3? I'm running out of tracks on my HD3, and I was hoping that I'll get some more by buying an extra Process card...Oh, well...

Keep in mind that that is "simultanious" tracks. You can have more than 96, just not all playing at the same time. but the track count is the same HD2 and above.
