Thread Starter | anything to gain? portico + pacifica
hey, guys I've got a couple of nice pres Speck 5.0 and Neve 5012 portico. I'm wondering if any of you guys have heard them all. I just wanna know if the Pacifica is a dramatic difference in tone from the speck or the portico. mics=sm7b pearlman tm-1 applications= VOCALS!!! acoustic guitar, keyboards. I just wanna know...so maybe i can move on to getting a nice analog EQ(like the neve 5033 or the Avedis....something for vox). These plugins seem to be garbage for the vocal sound I want. |

I like "how to see" thats a cool song... reminds me a bit of bloodhound gang. Ur vox sound cool on that too I like the effect. Listen to the band Plus44 "When Your Heart" www.myspace.com/plus44 they are doin the same type of effect on the vocals... It's mark from blink 182's new band.

yeah.. a few people have told me the drums don't quite work with the song. I kind of like 'em, though.

yea, the avedis 27 looks really good. I'm thinking about gwtting into 500 modules.
