Tascam DM24 question

Can you use the insert jacks on the Tascam DM24 as direct outs? In other words as an analog out(pre A/D converter).

Thanks, I look forward to hearing back from you. The reason I am thinking about this is so that I can have some extra pre's going into my Radar 24. Of course I would want to use the Radar's converters and not the Tascam's so that's why I am hoping the insert will send a direct analog out signal pre A/D converter. I would try it myself but the DM24 won't arrive until late next week.

Thanks guys, one more question:
Can I use a standard TRS-DSUB snake cable to go into by Radar 24 or do the cables have to be modified to work with the insert jacks?

I'm thinking of getting a DM-24 to utilize more outboard, i've maxed out my audio interfaces. Can you use the analog inserts with ADAT inputs? Or have analog inserts on the bus outputs?
