Thread Starter | Finnaly made up my mind. I'm going BAE 1084s
After a lot or reading from the SLUTZ and and even posting a few times too, I'm going with a pair of the BAE 1084s. I have never heard the Neve 1081 but wanted the extra freqs offered on it. I have used the 1073s and loved em. I just wanted that bass everywhere and and smooth open top end. I believe the BAE 1084 to be a great well made product, from what I have read at least. So from what I understand is, it's NEVEish but cleaner..... As for one of you recomending that I demo stuff, well...Vintage King will not demo stuff to Canada, and there are no Canadian dealers, so I'm kinf of flying blind here. thanks. I hope I'm not dissapointed,

cool! if you are still lurking around here can you let us know how much you like them? i am myself considering investing in a single BAE 1084 (as well as a dual-channel BAE 312A, made with Avedis op-amps) after much research and discussion here and elsewhere. let us know! J.D.
