Very Cool!

I'm curious as to how long it takes from the minute it arrives - until it's up & running & usuable? Is it hours/days/weeks?

Well again congrats bro.

You are hard working guy and deserve it.

Did you get to hear it before you bought it?

Glad to see the first US one installed and fired up!

Nice to see Mr Scholes working hard.

The install time on one of these consoles is really short and painless.

Hope to see many more leaving the factory in the next few weeks.

Man that's going to work out great.

I think all of us here at GS, especially the SSL fans would like all the details and info you have time to give.

Best to ya.

Thanks a lot guys and a special thank you to everyone at SSL. They were really nice from the beginning (long before the purchase was made) and they fulfilled their obligations with the precision of a Swiss clock.

It would have been nice if the moderators hadn't changed my title and moved my thread though...

It is not just the console but a beautiful room with a great tracking space.

Congratulations. I am looking forward to hearing some sessions as I am sure you are after all your hard work!

See you later

George

Well that was quick! Congratulations, and of course we expect a thorough review.

And to those in the other threads that thought it looked too small or not SSL-ish enough, well those photos brought serious flashbacks to a 9j installation I witnessed at Sigma Sound years back, so I'd say it's got the vibe! Very cool... love all those TFTs... "houston we have liftoff!"
