dda amr24 vs mci jh636vu

ive been in discussion with a friend who is selling his dda amr24 w/flying faders.
im thinking about getting rid of my mci jh636vu to fund it.

i'd like some opinions on the pro's and cons of changing from mci to the dda,
i know my mci has a sound that you other love or hate( i like my john hardy cards in it),
and i have heard about the dda being clean/sterile,
so if anybody has experience of either i'd like to hear your 2cents please!

(BTW i dont use onboard pres other than the hardy cards)

and also if anyone knows about the prices would it be a fair trade?
