Thread Starter | Recommendations for patchbay
Guys, Until now I have managed to get by without using a patch bay (thinking the less stuff in between gear the better). However, I have been buying more and more outboard so it has become kinda inevitable. I was considering a neutrik normalled bantam patch. Any other options I should consider. Regards, Pieter |

check ebay... I bought a Bantam 96pt patchbay... it was half normalled (I wanted non-normaled) but it wired up to elco/edac's on the back and I used the pin remover, and rewired it for non-normaled. Got it for $75 plus $10 for shipping, and probly would cost me over 500 new. Get an elco/edac setup on the back, its a pain to rewire everything if your setup changes. I use the 56pin setup, but use whatever works for you. Bantam/ TT is DEFINATLY the way to go. 1/4" just gets to clunky, plus it doesn't look "cool"

Van Damme in the UK also make very high quality patchbays which are not too expensive either, check out www.vdctrading.com or drop me a line. |
