noise removal software

I'm working on an audio file here with loads of low and high end background noise mixed in. Sounds like traffic sounds coming through the walls of a tour bus.
Is there good software that can analyse and remove this that perhaps I can download a demo of to fix this?
Many thanks,
Rob

thanks
am I correct in believing that to demo the waves stuff one needs ilok?
(I don't have it)
Will the others work in Logic? I'm not a protools guy.
I'll do some googling. Thanks for the help.

Correct, Cedar has products and algorithms for audio(music) restoration (denoise, declickle, dynamic noise supression, and so on ...), for mastering (EQ, compression, limiting) as well as for forensic audio (for example to make conversations recorded in far-less-then-ideal circumstances understandable for criminial investigation purposes).
They also do some video restoration algorithms.

for price and capability, you can't beat sonic no-noise.

Bias Soundsoap is cheap and works as a standalone as well as as a plug-in. I found it very effective on a number of problems, but I have not tried it on the exact thing you are describing.

thank you so much for chiming in everyone.
I think a mastering friend is going to come to the rescue so hopefully I'm all set.
Again, much appreciated.

A forum member tipped me to the plug ins here: http://www.virtos-audio.com/

Don't let the low price put you off - they're really good. Anyways, you can try the demo to see if they'll do the trick. Downside - they're DirectX, PC only.
