Dangerous Monitoring Issue.....

I have a big smile on my face because I'm almost done with my ideal set up for making my beloved techno music : )
Genelec 8050a
Apogee DA-16x
Apogee Rosetta 200
MacBook Pro w/Logic 7
API 550 eq's
+various synths and plug ins

Now I've just ordered the final piece Dangerous 2-Bus LT...

I want to put the API's in between the 2-Bus and Rosetta. My dilemma is how to monitor the eq's on the stereo mix. I don't want my main signal going through something else before it gets to the Rosetta but if I use the monitor outs I can't hear the eq.

Got any good ideas?

You should only really care about monitoring the return of what ever medium you are recording to.

Everything else is just fluff and gravy anyway.

So whatever you are recording to monitoring the return of that is the key.thumbsup

The way to do this is to route the signal:

2-Bus -> Rosetta -> DAW -> DA out -> Monitor Controller

On my system, i sacrificed 2 channels of my summing to be able to keep 2 da channels for monitoring the output from the 2-bus that i am capturing. So i am using 14 inputs into the 2-Bus, and the remaining 2 DA outputs are going to my monitoring.
