Expensive Monitors for Bass Heavy Electronic Music?

Hi Everybody,

I may have a chance to pick up some somewhat pricey monitors soon. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I have time to do a shootout before I acquire them (we need them for a trip to the Amazon rainforest). Luckily because of the price range all of these should be good, and I'm also looking for other suggestions, but basically I do very loud and bass heavy electronic music such as this here:

http://home.comcast.net/~shogeist/dgr/dgrmedia.htm

These mixes aren't all that great because I did them on a Klipsh multimedia computer 5.1 deal and some Grado RS-2 headphones, but it should definitely give you an idea of what I'm interested in and what kind of monitor I'm looking for.

What I'm thinking right now are:

Adams (open to suggestions about which model, such as using the S3as as nearfields...not sure if they'll fit on my Raxxess desk though with 2 computer monitors, guess I could buy stands)

and I've also done some reading around and people mention:

Klein and Hummel (don't know anything about them)

and

PMC (also don't know anything about them)

and like I said I'm open to any other suggestions.

Please let me know, thanks,

David H.

I do mainly heavy bass electronic related genres of music in my studio:

i use Dynaudio M3a in the main studio and ATC Scm 50ASL with sub in the other.

Works great.

Adam S3a are very nice and accurate monitors for nearfields but they lack bass for my taste. I also like PMC IB1S or IB2S.

If you will buy any of the expensive monitors you must consider spending at least the same or better twice the amount of money on the room and acoustics.

My 2c ....
