| Lives for gear | Anybody using Gyraf G14 EQ ?
Getting more mastering tasks, I am thinking of a great (more coloured) supplement to my Ibis EQ. After some research, the Gyraf G14 EQ seems to be very interesting option. Some people say it sounds better than Massive Passive for much more reasonable price. Anyone here using it ?

Hello, I have the Gyraf G14 eq. It is very smooth and musical. You can boost whatever freqs and it still sounds very good. I wouldn't say it's better than the Manley Massive Passive. Different. It is however smoother and easier to operate and cheaper......has five bands to. The bass is very "tight" and punchy, mids are creamy in a "cheese cake" way, highs is the best I've heard from an eq ever. +15db @ 12k? no problem AT ALL.... Have a nice day! |
