6386 tubes - RCA or GE prefered

I have an early Manley Variable Mu that has had the T-Bar mod. I want to bring it back to it's original fat creamy character by going back to the 6386 tubes.
Can anyone share their experience or preference between the RCA and GE 5 star 6386's?
