What do you want to know? Line in goes to the routing module, mic in goes to the mic-pre/EQ module... from there it goes to the output busses which go to the output.

It ain't really rocket surgery.

Hi

I'm not sure why it's difficult to figure out... The console has either 31099 or 31102 channel amps which are similar to either a 1073 or 1084 but minus the line input. The line input goes through a changeover relay in the Aux/Monitor routing unit (the console is in-line monitor) through a +/-10dB trim control and back to the channel amp.

The channel amp feeds the routing units via a pre-fade insertion. The routing units send signals to the mix busses and these are summed in line amplifiers that are mounted inside the Group Assign routing units. This provides the 16 Group bus and 8 Aux bus outputs.

Mark one and Mark two 8058/68's work slightly differently as there's a remix facility in the latter. Bottom line is that the Aux/Mon routing unit in the channels has the panpots and assign buttons to the 4T busses.

The consoles are different from other Neve consoles because they don't have rows of line amps in the back. All the line amps are integral with the Group assign module. The only 3415 in the console is the talkback amplifier.

This is just a highly incomplete description from memory... I have a block diagram somewhere...

Thanks!

Hi

I may have one on the 68 but the 66 is totally different... it has a separate monitor section like an 8078 and earlier 80** up to the 58.

I appreciate the assistance though!
