Alright. I've met some that say its mid and some high. I just want to get more thoughts on this. My ears tell me high!

It seems that it is technically a mid level convertor. On par quality wise with Lavry Blues, Mytek, and Burls (each having a different flavor). High end shit is spendy and you generally just get two channels for $6000-$8000. Where it ranks among the mid level convertors is clearly up for debate.

Beringer is Low end, Mackie low mid, Motu/RME mid end, Some Apogee/Linx Mid High, Lynx Aruora/Hilo Lavery, Mytek, Burl, Apogee 16x /Symphony, Prism high end. 6-8k is fantasy HI-FI crap....

I think I would have to agree that passed a certain point, it makes no sense to pay 4-5k for a channel of conversion unless you have a shitload of extra money to spend. Countless hit albums and musically genius songs have been made using less expensive conversion.
