BAE 1073mp in my hands!

I just got this via UPS a few minutes ago with the PSU. I must say, quite impressive box! I haven't even plugged it in yet and I'm in euphoria! They threw in some guitar picks and a few stickers, along with an awesome booklet.

The box is built like a tank and it's surely as heavy as one! This is my second preamp(first is solo610) but my first high-end preamp.

I just want to say that even though I haven't played with it yet, just the quality of the build has me smiling like the Joker!

Yeah, i have both in the studio..Don't rush to dismiss the solo 610 from the high end sound! It's an incredible pre for room, acoustic gt and bass!!

Congrats! I had the same feeling when I got mine. The packaging shows quality in itself. Not in a "wow this is over the top, wish that money went into the equipment" way, simple, effective, yet not just an after-thought. I do a lot of graphic design/branding and these things definitely count!

Like Tony said, just wait til you use it! I've had the MPF for maybe 6 months and I LOVE mine. Game changer for thick snare and bass DI for me. First bass DI I've ever considered using on my personal material. And don't get me started on vocals. Vintage U87 into the BAE, phew..gets me going.
