MCI Neve Teac..Consoles etc

Well as Newbie to this forum,, tho i read it for a long time..thought I would
say hello to everyone...and from reading past threads..I am running STUDIO A
MCI 636--JH-24--..Studio B...Tac Sorp..adats-..yeah adats. done plenty of
albums on them..As far as what medium you use it dont matter Its all the
song and good perfromance, and good mic placement,,,I have worked on Neves
MCI Ameks Tascams..There use to be a headroom problem with lower class
consoles and tapemachines -10,,vrs plus 4 for input wich is alot on your meters
if you look at your master outputs you can see the differnce..(I know all the pros
know this) but newbies into analouge must realize the difference in the headroom has a alot to do with the sound of their music...just a question I see alot on these forums about the old teac 80-8s etc... alot of us do know,, but I have
been asked these kind if questions locally from musicians who dont want to
use computers...any way Hello to all From Tampa Bay ZEB
