Looking at the pics of your amp setup made me think of something. With wood floors (even though its common in live rooms) isn't there a concern for reflections coming off the floor into the mics or is there something it does sound wise that's aesthetic?

Reflections are not such an evil thing... If not for reflections, the room would be pretty boring sounding... and that's no fun. But, judging by the pic, he's using mostly dynamics anyway.
