Looking for Architect/Accoustician in L.A.

I'm thinking of buying a building that I will build into a studio in L.A.,and I'd like to have it checked out first by an accoustician or an architect with experience in recording studios. Does anyone have a recommendation, or know of someone honest, reliable, and affordable in Los Angeles??

Thanks!

Steve Klein in Sherman Oaks has a company that deals with this. Also, Chris Pelonis seems to be highly regarded.

Not a direct answer to your question, but how high are the ceilings, what kind of businesses are directly to either side, and what kind of insulation (ceiling wise especially) does the building have? Is it a freestanding building? Kind of hard to tell from the pic. Be aware that you are close to the airport there. Study the flight paths at various times of day to see what your problems might be. There are many studios in that area, but a lot of them are free standing buildings where the ceilings are higher and where you can easily drop a ceiling and put some "air" between the false ceiling and the outer shell. You wouldn't want to get too deep in and find out that you couldn't hold out the noise of overhead aircraft - or that the bookstore next door just sold out and they're putting in a machine shop or disco.
