Apogee Rosetta 200 and Original Rosetta

I'm thinking about upgrading to the Rosetta 200.
Is their a noticable difference between to Rosetta 200 and the original Rosetta
when recording at 44.1k.

If I plan on staying at 44.1k is this a worth while upgrade?

I owned a 200 and currently own an 800 and I used to own a Rosetta A/D. The old Rosetta is a good conveter. The new Rosetta is cleaner and chrisper in the highs and is more defined. Just what you want sometimes. But I think I miss my old Rosetta. Sometimes I think some of the newer conveters are "too perfect" IMHO.

I'd take the $1k or so and put it into mic/pre/eq/comp gear -- unless you're doing a $5k+ upgrade. The Rosetta AD --> Rosetta 200 upgrade is an incremental step up, at least compared to beefing up your mic collection...also, it's gonna depreciate a lot faster. the Rosetta AD was the s&*t converter in '03 -- do records really sound any better now?

Would an original Rosetta be an upgrade from my m-audio Delta-1010 to print my mixes?

I mix on a console with a HD24 as my recorder and I feel like I don't like what the delta-1010 does to my mixes when I record my final mixes into my daw.

Would I be better to spend twice as much to get a rosetta 200 or something else (on the used marker).

Thanks
