Need help picking a monitor controller

I'm in the mood to sell and buy stuff.
I'm using a Sony DMX R100 into a DAC 1. MADI
I want to put at least 4 and would love 5 way monitor switcher.

I've never used a summing box and don't know if it's something I even want to do.

I've read about all the different options but still can't seem to pull the trigger.

Help.

Larry

For that many sources, the Coleman stuff is probably your best bet. Solid build, good feature set.

Coleman does custom work. They'll make you whatever you want and it will sound right.

Bad time to make decisions.

But if you can't find enough switches on one box, stack boxes, with Output A of Box 1 feeding multiple output Box 2, Output B feeding multiple output Box 3, etc.

afaik there is nothing out there off the shelf with 5 speaker outs.

Custom is probably the way to go - crookwood, coleman or danfield audio would be the top of my list to speak to. Will be pricey, but worth it.

Sorry, I was just referring to the switching for that many sources.

Once you've got a box to do all the switching, then you just need a simple monitor controller.

Well pm me with your info and I'll build one to go with the Gain Train.
OR pm me and we'll discuss you doing a custom job.

I can tell this has your attention.

At my age I can always use a shot of "what the heck am I doing?"

When I see a deficit in one area and a surplus in the other area I start thinking "what am I thinking"

Yeah, I was getting too many pm's so I shut it off, plus I hate communicating thru that cumbersome UI.
