| DM-24 with firewire downmix
Dear All!
I have a noob question with regards to DM-24 with firewire interface in combination with Cubase.
I have set-up all IO's sends (the physical pre-amp inputs) and returns to it's respective FW 1-24 interfaces. I enabled the post ADC direct send option and I am able to record all channels perfectly. In this set-up the post ADC audio is routed through my PC and returned to the mixer respective strips and through the rest of the mixer. Being able to record the channels clean, changing the EQ, pan, volume, compression, gate, etc. while recording and afterwards. This works for me, but I predict there are other ways to set-up.
My question is how can I create a mixdown of all the channels in cubase with this mixer in the audio routing path? Basically I want to route the stereo out of the mixer back to the computer. I could use a BUSS and free up FW port 23-24 for this, but perhaps there are other/ better solutions?
Thank you very much for your insight!! Again, excuse my noobie terminology......
Kind regards,
WizzyWizz
