While I'd love to have a 527, I could have three of the Lindells and $100+ left over...

I'm seriously consider a radial workhorse loaded with Lindells...

I would also like to hear somone chime re: the quality of Lindell's 500 modules. There must be someone out there who has them by now, they're shipping now are'nt they?

I can't comment Lindel's unit since I never played with it before. But I can say about API 527 due I have pair of it - it's a great compressor. There're many 2-buss high-end compressors which do an excellent job on tracking, and not so many high-end tracking (mono) compressors that can boast of its work on 2-buss or subgroups. API 527 in my opinion is one of those blessed and lucky.

I have not gotten my grubby little mitts on one yet.....I believe they are just now starting to ship.

Only thing I've seen is this:

Lindell Audio 7X-500 Compressor @ ZenProAudio.com - YouTube

I'm gonna start with a pair and take it from there.....

I'm loving my 7X-500s. They are amazing on drum mix down. The SC filter and mix knob make them indispensable. I must like them... I have a lunchbox of 6?
