ampex repair in nashville?

I've got a 2 track 1/4inch Ampex that is in really good shape but I want to get it checked out before I attempt using it. Anyone have any recommendations on who to call to service it?

I'm in the Nashville area. Thanks for the input.

peaceful steps

Dave at Quad does freelance work, although they only have Studers I'm sure he's the right guy.

Charlie Brewer refurbished our AG 440. I'd recommend him.

Thank you Pod and Jeff for the referrals. I shall check them out.
Can't wait to roll some tape on this baby... hopefully I can turn it into a half inch machine, pending part availability.

peaceful steps!
