Prism Orpheus with PT10

I'm sick to death of the endless 9094 errors of my PTHD Native system (other than that, it's great...).

So I'm thinking of getting rid of the Native card altogether, which will require a different interface than the Omni I currently have. And the leading contender in my mind is a Prism Orpheus, based on its alleged awesome sound quality. This would be the sole interface.

So, for Orpheus users who use PT--how much messing with the Orpheus control application do you have to do? I often work on many different songs a day from different people, and if I have to re-route outputs and manually change sample rates it's kind of a deal breaker. If it is automatic, then I'm happy.

Also, how hot does it run? How loud is it?

thanks!

Out of interest, what have you tried to fix the 9094 errors on your current system? You may know better, but it could be that switching interfaces won't actually fix this. Are you Mac or PC?

I'm on a Mac (Mac Pro, hexacore 3.33. 24gb ram, SSDs, OSX 10.6.8, PT10.2).

So far, I'm running at 32 bit, and have tried quitting all browsers. The only plugs I have installed are Waves Mercury, Melodyne, Autotune, and Vocalign.

I have read that others with this problem believe it is a PCI error, which seems to make sense. HD and HDX users don't seem to be reporting this nearly as much as HDN users.

If I run with no hardware at all, I never have that error...

cheers!
