Cool. What year is your board? Mine is an '83 with the Jensen trafo preamps. You hardly see those around much. I actually really like them - They have a real "hard hitting" sound to them. Hard to put into words...

not to rain on your parade but those plasma meters are going to give you fits and they are spendy. It would just about be worthwhile to pull them and go VU.

I had a 6K w/plasmas.... great when they worked, but when they didn't

interesting how many of these are showing up w/o puter and recall
recall was one of the big selling points.

They're mostly easy to fix - it's usually not the tube that goes.

Thanks man how I think about everything in the world is. Someone else did it. I Can be just as good as anyone else at anything. It takes time but I am not trying to reinvent the wheel. Sometimes I just may have to roll it up a hill.
