How Rammstain do their guitar sound?

Bigger than life guitar sound. How they do it????
Rammstain thans Native Instruments, but guitar rig????

Next week end sessions I have Engl head and cab.

I think they sacrifice a goat and then set the amp on fire while tracking.

I have the twin channel and use it with a cab mic 57 or Ribbon
There is something about the sound that seems so on the front edge of the monitors that I think it must be one of these.

I thought all great guitar sounds came from a Rockman, I didn't know about the goat.

Pretty sure its DI'd guitar ala Trent Reznor style. I agree.........huge sound. I'd also love to know the exact chain they use.

Not shure about in the studio,
but here's how they get their live sound....it's a bit messy

Yeah I tend to agree, that whole make the final speaker the guitar "amp", concept, it works for this style(s) of music,

i dont know trents chain(s) either , but rammstain has one of those cool trident dream consoles, and they say they love it! and other trident gear also

They're called Rammstein (not Rammstain or Rammstien)

They use a Neumann M149 and API 512 preamp with an additional pad on the mic cable. The mic is very close to the cabinet.

Amps is Mesa Boogie.

Source for this info is from the actual recording engineer.
