STC-8 side chain

I want to add a stereo eq to pass 100z and below before hitting the comp - which unit to get? Do I need to get something rediculously expensive? I think not, right, I am just indicating where to start the compression.

Thoughts, please?

Though it would work fine for your stated purpose, the Drawmer 201 isn't very versatile, unless you need a stereo gate. What if you wanted to boost a frequency range to increase compression?

Do you mean to pass 100 hz and above?
