Lavry Black AD - next step up?

Hello fellow slutz

Hope this hasn't been picked over too much too often:

I'm happy enough with my Lavry Black AD10. It plays nice with my Fireface 800 and offers a considerable step up in converter quality.

But of course, I know there is better.

So what would be the next very noticeable upgrade? What should I be looking at? Only need two channels. Lavry Gold might be out of reach, but perhaps something in between....

Many thanks!

Maybe consider trying out the burl b2 or the forssell. Also the cranesong HEDD is great if you need a DA as well and can use the different processing options.

Thanks Simon. Yes the Burl looks interesting. I had already taken a brief look at it. I guess like everyone else I'm looking for a sound that is less edgy and harsh.
I still think my old Tascam 38 made some great recordings, but that could be memory playing tricks.

Don't know the Forsell. Off for a look now
