Should i buy Apogee Symphony just for the DA?

Hi guys,
Well i have a 36 channel d&r orion+lynx aurora 16+apogee big ben and i'm in the process of buying 1 more converter just for the DA side. What should i do,buy another aurora,go for a new symphony system and sell both aurora+bb or is there a good cheaper DA in the market that i'm not aware that when linked to the bb becomes on pair with at least the aurora?
A burl bomber adc is in the horizon for the AD side.I do only hip hop/electronica.
Thanks

I'd say it is overkill.

Unless you just want to spend money on a new toy.

While you can get away with different kinds of A/D's if you're doing overdubs [so long as you don't use more than one on any given sound]; D/A's want to all be the same [if you're doing simultaneous playback, as in multi-channel, as in what your description sounds like you're doing].

Peace

All I can say is that I absolutely love my Symphony. It really does make anything you put through it sound better. And I've had nothing but great experiences with the guys over at Apogee.
