1 My live room 2 EMT 140 -even in modern productions clients love it 3 Lex 480 -classic and adds huge 3d quality I can't find in plugins P.S. noticed a few of you using tape delay before your 140. Nice, I'll try that with my mm1200, but now you've got me wondering about using my tube echoplex as a pre-dly. hmm

I just picked up a PCM70. I don't know how I lived without it. It is definitely the most fun piece of gear I've bought in a while.

I own a pcm96 and at one point I owned a 960l.. when I listen to recordings I did with the 960L I love what I hear. It had such a nice sound. One thing I never owned a 480. I never understood why some didnt like the 960 I don't know why they stopped making the 960L? what a waste. I don't get Lexicon The pcm96 is nice but the 960 is king in my opinion. It would just make a mix gel together so easy, made recording sound sweet. I miss it. They could have done so much with that unit but they just let it die

Eventide 2016 Just to go agains the stream with the Lexicon dudes ![]() I feel that Lexicon has become something of a fashion thing. They have awesome reverbs, no doubt, but it would be nice to have people try out different sounding reverbs to get more of their own sound.

I hated to see it go too: that box was my principal focus for quite a while. Those factors that allow us to provide more power at lowered costs are the same factors that mean shorter production life for many products in all sorts of markets. N.S.

| Bricasti killed off the high end Lexicon products, they just can't compete anymore. Since Lexicon has refused to support their flagship products, they created the market hole for Bricasti to fill.

EMT 140, but I have to make do with the Altiverb version. (Which is very, very good IMO) The few times I worked with the real ones, I was amazed by the beautiful sheen of the sound. Like a musical reply from a slightly spooky place. Good stuff!
