API DSM

Just curious if anyone here had tried the API DSM setup.

I'm seriously thinking about getting 24 channels to help me mix (most of the time in stem and using outside mixer) and summing off the HD3.
if this is cool it would eliminate me buying a big analog mixer.

Mostly jazz and rock.

I too am interested in one of the mini mixers from API or Chandler...it just seems that you could easily get a used console for the same price! After looking around, the Chandler seems like a bargain compared to tonelux, api, wunder, etc...
