Pro tools native digital i/o

With pro tools native I would get 64 i/o. If I were to pair that up with 4 192 i/os theres my 64.

My question is this: does that 64 include my other converters hooked up digitally to the 192? Or am I missing something?

Also, does the avid hd i/o offer as many options to connect converters digitally as the 192 i/o? If so, is there a huge difference between the hd i/o vs the 192 in terms of clarity?

Thanks
