Other contenders for voltage regulation and cleaning up the power?

A voltage regulator will only help you if you have voltage irregularities including spikes, brown outs, sags, etc. If that's the case than the P-2400 AR is the better solution for pro studio environments but of course the P-1800 AR will also work, though it is meant more for live situations where you can't count on the quality of power on stage. If you are interested in cleaning up the power and lowering your noise floor you want the Furman P-2400 IT Balanced Power unit.
